Birmingham is world famous for holding major events and exhibitions which are held in numerous places such as The National Indoor Arena (NIA), The International Convention Centre (ICC) and the Symphony Hall (pictured above left). Larger Events such as The International Motor Show (pictured above right) Crufts and the Good Food Show are held at The National Exhibition Centre (NEC).

Birmingham has a great variety of architecture, the ultra modern next to the classic Edwardian and Victorian styles. All of this works well within this multi cultural city which has a vast array of religions, faiths and cultures all integrated into one big community. Birmingham is one of the most diverse and multicultural cities in Europe.
Birmingham has a vast network of canals which stretch and wind their way through the whole of Birmingham and major other cities all over England. You can take canal tours along the network, a number of these leave from the waters edge, Brindley Place.
